And our first quote...apt, no?
The Most Dangerous Game, anyone else remember that short story? I was wondering if LOST is like that in some senses. Correct me, my memory is fuzzy. Two guys are shipwrecked. End up on an island. Find 'host' living in luxury on the island. Man tells the survivors that if they can escape the island they can live... but Man will be hunting them and trying to kill them in the meantime. I half wondered if Desmond holing up in the hatch found that his way of 'surviving' some game.
Random Theory #4815: Perhaps "they"--ancestoral figures from way back set free the black smoke (not Danielle's black smoke) and DesmonD is doing what he can to keep it contained.
I don't think we have seen Charlie and Claire kiss. Wouldn't it stink if he goes on protecting her and helping care for her baby, and then one day he professes his love for her, and she's like, "Oh, sorry Charlie, I don't like you like that..." Heheheh. I would throw peanut butter at the tv screen.
Aw, Kate feels bad about Sawyer. Jack is off being Jack. Why are they not appreciating their girl bunnies? Are they trying to create a love-square when A-L and Sawyer get back? The way Jack is perhaps it will be a love rhombus.
So, my question is why they needed to give Jack that crappy hair piece? Why, for the love of all that is pure and good, WHYYYY? Seriously, it made sense if that was supposed to be in the 80s, but if it was supposed to be like 1998... WTF?
Yeah, when [Goodwin] said he was from Canada I was all, "SO WAS ETHAN! HE MUST BE ONE OF THEM!"
I would like a LOST bad guy who does not die, please.
Ethan, killer super powerful scary. Dead.
Goodwin, killer stealthy frightening. Dead.
DON'T EVER GET INTO A CAR WITH KATE!! FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS PURE AND GOOD IN THE WORLD! JUST DON'T DO IT!!
I don't know what to say about the final showdown because with or without Kate, what in the world did Jack think he was going to do? Get into a No/Yes shouting fight until one of them swallows a bug and dies? Have a 'who is bigger' contest? I didn't really grasp what the whole thing was about.
I still stick to the Charlie is a zombie theory.
- It is a strange day indeed that I am relieved Sawyer has the guns.
Danielle. Hrm. She actually caught somebody. She was smart enough to know Sayid was a 'good bloke' with practical skills. She's also pretty smart to know that Mr. Balloon was a hooligan.
Not liking the Henry Gale man. Nope. He's all 'please don't hurt me/why would I lie?/why are you treating me like this?' most of the time, but when he's alone with people (people who are succeptible to doubts and manipulation), he gets all evil and conniving. And the looks he gives people... bastard.
Anyway, I declare this topic unimportant since as fast as the shows time line is going poor Sun will be preggers for the next five seasons at least, unless something drastic happens.
*nods* I've never been on a flight with that many pretty people on it. Maybe the ugly people died in the crash or something.
-I think getting trapped in a net with a guy is on my top five fandom-kinks. It was kind of weird seeing it play out though. In a sort of, "But that is for fan fiction" kind of way.
- The Evil Twin thing... is "He" (the leader of the Others?) the "evil twin" of someone on the island? Or...
I wondered tonight if the 'black smoke' can make itself look like people.
And the wanting of those people... the infamous LIST. (The preview for the finale said our questions would be answered... right.)
25) Jack blinking to Kate, and her blink back =
a) I love you
b) Everything will be alright
c) Sayid will save us, you just wait
d) I so should have done you when I had the chance
I found myself wanting LOST to be a story about Penny searching for her LOST Desmond... not so likely if he imploded himself.
